Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark, but cold start with a little wind at the moment here in Brackley.
The slow cooked beef has turned out excellent , think maybe on my own I could reduce the amount of veg I use.
Mick

Good morning Mick and everyone. Glad your beef turned out well. Still dark but dry with no frost in Lancashire. Did a little gardening yesterday but more to do today.
Enjoy the day all.

Morning Mick, Nana and everyone.

It's dark and I'm still in bed but I can't hear the rain we are forecast for Kent.
Busy day here we are rearranging the furniture in DS room and DH will be putting up some shelves. Who knows what we will find lurking in the corners !
Happy Monday everyone

Morning everyone.Just been out in the garden to put food out for the birds, its just starting to get light, chilly but dry at the moment. Off to the dentist this morning for two replacement fillings to be done, not looking forward to that as you can imagine. I will then just potter at home or i may even go into a decline after the stress of it all and spend the day on the sofa with my knitting and the tvsmile

Good Morning Mick, Nana, nina and everyone.

It's very cloudy, breezy and chilly here on the south coast.I have a WI coffee morning to go to this morning and will combine that with a bit of shopping and the library.

I didn't get chance to come on GN yesterday at all as it was one thing after another and by the time I remembered, in the evening, it was too late for the Good Morning thread! Hope someone missed me!

Have a good day folks. sunshine

Morning travelsasfar. Good luck at the dentist. I need an appointment for an achey back tooth.

gillybob Mon 19-Nov-18 07:28:33

It’s been very windy overnight here on the NE coast. Usual Monday morning blues. School runs then that place .

Have a good day all x

Morning Mick and All

Grey and cold in South Bucks.

Think I will have to cancel supper out with a friend tonight as I am coughing for England. ?

Glad your casserole was a success Mick

Good morning all ?

Dull and breezy here in SE Essex.

Off to the gym this morning, hopefully decorators will start wallpapering lounge today. The end is finally in sight after nine weeks of disruption, getting excited!!!

Hope all have a peaceful day ?

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is a flat, grey, cold start to the day. DH has a hospital appointment today and then we have the school run this afternoon. In between, there will be kitchen cleaning for yours truly. It looks like a war zone after yesterday’s family lunch! Glad you enjoyed your beef, Mick - slow cookers are a godsend! Have a good day folks.

Good Morning from a decidedly chillier Black Country.

Had an exhausting but lovely weekend looking after 2 DGD's (7 and 10) and a lively Labrador. DD had a great weekend in Dublin for an early celebration for her 40th with hubby and friends.

Today I am off to U3A canal group talk, then on the way back I will have a session in the gym, as if I come home first, I doubt I will go back out.

Mick you can never have enough veg in a meal smile . NanKate I hope your cough eases, and you feel better soon, so annoying when social activities are curtailed!

Have good day everyone.

Good morning all, only just got up and feeling a bit woozy! After a couple of nights of lying awake I decided to take a sleeping tablet last night, slept right through till two cats leapt onto my chest at 7.15! Cats are now fed, I'm having a cup of tea and just trying to decide whether to go to yoga or not. It's a dull day and looks chilly. Thinking I might stir myself and go as I enjoy the company, and we have coffee afterwards.

Morning to everyone from a dark and dismal Fife. Very cold I believe outside today, however nothing anyone can do about that. Everyone so far seems to be in fine fettle, that's good news. Off to meet a friend for coffee/catch up this morning, had better wrap up. Hope all have a good day.

Good morning from a grey, cold Colchester. Walking Netball this morning and we have DGS2 this afternoon.

Good morning from under the duvet in a cold but dry Birmingham. I’m at my partner’s house, waiting for breakfast in bed (I know....) I’m going to a concert at Birmingham cathedral at lunchtime, then will have a late lunch somewhere, then I’m on the hunt for some socks, possibly glittery.
Glad your dinner turned out well, Mick. Annie and everyone, have a good day.

aggie Mon 19-Nov-18 08:20:47

Good morning all, looks dry and not too dull out . I got up , opened the curtains , put the kettle on , but decided to get back in bed smile , shopping for spare room bedding later , seems visitors reported the sheets a bit small !

Marydoll Mon 19-Nov-18 08:34:48

Good morning , Mick and all from a chilly Glasgow. Had a lovely day in Stirling yesterday, but couldn't get home from Glasgow , as no trains for three hours. ? So we had to go via another route get and get a taxi home. An expensive day out, but worth it.
It is DGD's birthday lunch today, but I have lost my voice, am wheezing and like NanKate, I have hacking cough.
I'm feeling quite sorry for myself! However, it will not stop me going to see my wee darling.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all from an unremarkable North Leicestershire - at least weather-wise it is unremarkable.

I've been up since 5.30 having meaningful discussions with dh regarding reorganising the upstairs sitting room (or playroom as it is normally known) I think I won! grin

We are off to collect 2 new side tables from John Lewis later and have free coffee and cake vouchers to use so that's a bonus!

Enjoy your days everyone!

Good morning All.x
A fine bright morning here in the NW.
Bit of writing to do today concerning one or two issues that have cropped up within the family that has to be thrashed out sooner rather than later. Not particularly looking forward to it but it has to be done.

Sar53 Mon 19-Nov-18 08:46:20

Good morning everyone from a very windy and wet Essex by the sea. It's been very blowy all night. Shopping and housework this morning, probably catching up with tv and trying to do a bit more of my rather difficult puzzle later. Hope you all have a good day.

cornergran Mon 19-Nov-18 08:49:26

Morning Mick, Morning All from a cloudy and decidedly chilly corner of Somerset. Meaningful discussions at 5.30am kitty? Pleased you got the outcome you wanted but think I’m in shock at the timing. Faffing at home for me today after a very enjoyable but exhausting family time yesterday. Hope Monday is kind to everyone and poorly people are better soon.

Willow10 Mon 19-Nov-18 08:50:33

Good morning from a very bright and sunny East Northants. Overslept after a disturbed night (again!) so slow getting started. On the hunt for new Christmas cards today after having a good clear out of what I had left yesterday. Must have had some of them for decades! Hope its a good day for all.

Gaggi3 Mon 19-Nov-18 08:51:19

Good morning everyone. It's the first time I've been up in time to contribute. DH has an early Dr's appointment, to his great annoyance. Dullish and cold here in West Sussex. Quite happy to be in today after 3 days of going out. Have to speak nicely to the dishwasher which appears to be dying on me- there's always something like that just before Christmas. Have a lovely day.

Anniebach Mon 19-Nov-18 08:56:33

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Hope everyone has a good day x

blushblush good morning all!
I have slept right through from a little after midnight when I was tossing and turning, or so I thought, until nearly 9! I must have been tired and needing it will be my excuse- perhaps driving up to Birmingham and back for DGS 3’s Birthday. Bless him, he got “Man of the match” for scoring all 4 of his (winning) team’s goals in his under 7’s football match in the morning .
Gorgeous and sunny here, wishing you all a pleasant day.
