Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark, but cold start with a little wind at the moment here in Brackley.
The slow cooked beef has turned out excellent , think maybe on my own I could reduce the amount of veg I use.
Mick

I haven't contributed to the good morning thread for ages. blush. I'm afraid that my early mornings have vanished. My sleeping pattern is rubbish at the moment and I'm trying to rectify it.
Overcast and cold in West Northumberland today. DH and I may go winter coat shopping later, that's if he feels up to it. He gets very tired these days, trying to hold down 3 jobs. He's afraid to retire but at 67 I think it's about time to slow down!

Brrr. Chilly start here in the Scottish Borders and the birds are noisy. We are home after a weekend away on GP duty to find the caged fat balls have been knocked off the bird table and not a scrap left.
Dentist today and domestic chores.
Hope you all have a good week.

Morning Mick, Annie and all others here. Nannytopsy you are not the last, I too am rolloing in late this morning. No appointments to keep to today, so we are being very lazy. I have got a couple if things that I want to cook, experimenting again, but apart from that, it’s a free day.
It’s chilly but dry and fairly bright here, so we may go out mooching and for a coffee later.
Haven’t done anything towards Christmas yet, in the way of presents, so thinking cap on, and headache pills to come.
Oh yes, I did make a small Christmas cake on Friday, in a loaf tin, so hope it turns out OK. It smelt lovely, and is now awaiting it’s first ‘feed’.
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning everyone. We are over in Malaga for a month, due home early December to spend Christmas with the family. The weather has been mixed the last couple of days - we had a spectacular thunderstorm with forked lightening on Saturday morning and heavy rain yesterday. Anyway it’s gorgeous out now. Bright sun and very warm, especially behind glass!
I’m off to meet 3 friends in a couple of hours for wine & a catch up. No men allowed ha! Love it. ❤️

All done at the dentist and no injection needed to numb my mouth. Now home and twiddling my thumbs as i thought i would be drooling from my face being numb!!! Think i will take a wander to the library and get some fresh air and exercise.

Good morning everyone!
I’ve just discovered this ‘good morning’ thread. What a lovely way to start the day with bits of news and weather from all around the country?! It’s almost elevenses time here in North Dorset - where it’s bright but pretty chilly. I hope all of us ‘grannies’ have a very happy day.

Good morning all, just enjoying a cup of coffee and a crumpet after wiping the condensation off the windows. Blue skies and sunshine on Anglesey this morning so have thrown open the offending windows. Traded in our yeti for a nice little second hand Toyota Yaris with low mileage yesterday and enjoyed the Christmas Market in Llandudno. Off to Holyhead now for some superglue as I broke a precious ornament last evening, also need dental floss and couscous.
I love the idea of 'mooching' AuntyFlo and intend to do just that this afternoon.
Have a lovely rest of day everybody

Greetings all! Aberdeenshire has descended in to an ice age again...minus 6'ish in Braemar last night so shall stay cosy in doors and sod cleaning out the shed. The spiders are safe for another week or two.

Good afternoon, everyone.
I'm a bit late today, even though I've been up since 8.30. Needed to sort DH out ready for going back to work after his week off, then it was my coffee morning group, so I'm afraid my good morning has morphed into the afternoon! ?
Mick, your leftover veg and any meat should freeze until you need it again - I often do that. Glad it all turned out well.
We've been in York this weekend. We saw Jools Holland on Friday evening at the Barbican, which was excellent and then had a lovely weekend. The Christmas market started this weekend so we had a mooch around that, took a river cruise on Saturday and visited Jorvik yesterday. A busy but enjoyable few days, with good weather. It's not so good now, as it has turned wet, drizzly and cold.
Enjoy the rest of the day. ?

Good Morning from Northern California, where we are on our 11th day of unhealthy air quality due to the fire 200 miles north of us. They say it could be toward the end of the month before the fire is completely out. Once again, we will stay inside as much as possible today. I have lots of “domestics” to keep me occupied, as my eldest DGD was here for the weekend and we had a lovely messy weekend indoors.
