Morning Mick, morning all.

There is the most glorious sunrise over the sea here in Aldeburgh.

We are going home straight after breakfast as I am doing the school run in Derby this afternoon. Back to normal for me too Mick.

NannyJan53 Wed 14-Nov-18 06:47:45

Good morning from a still dark Black Country

Sounds like a busy day for you kitty, I hope you enjoyed your mini break. Enjoy your normality Mick

Taking my car in for it's Service and MOT today, so fingers crossed it is not too expensive!

Then meeting a group of friends at 11 for a walk along a local canal to a local beauty spot, then a spot of lunch at the Café there.

Then pick up my 2 DGD's from school, wait for DD to arrive home at 5pm to take me to (hopefully) collect my car!

Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning to all from Northampton, where it's still too dark to see what the weather's like.
Busy day yesterday, social club in the morning, then out to DGD's Shakespeare last night; she played Lady Macbeth very well, lots of lines to learn.
Housework this morning then walking group this afternoon.

Good morning from a dark but dry East Northants. Archery this morning followed by coffee and chat and then stop off to buy some new towels. Hope its a good day for everyone.

Gagagran Wed 14-Nov-18 07:12:49

Good Morning everyone.

We are promised a sunny, mild day here on the south coast. It would be very nice if this weather continued throughout winter. I don't like being cold.

DH is out with his bike club today and I am starting to fine tune my lists. I am an inveterate list maker and with Christmas now on the horizon I need to get going. This evening it is choir and we are having a complete run through of the 1 December concert which will be here before we know it.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

gillybob Wed 14-Nov-18 07:14:21

Good morning everyone . Little sleep again due to bad back and brain in overdrive .
Struggling to get ready but have to be out in less than 30 minutes . Could really do with a day in bed . Never mind .

Have a good Wednesday all. x

millymouge Wed 14-Nov-18 07:22:43

Good morning everyone from an extremely mild Essex. A lot of red in th sky this morning, wonder if that means rain is on its way. Was up early this morning as DH is off on a trip to a recycling plant in Suffolk, masks are advised!! I shall spend some time sorting out the boarder on my current quilt. Also shall be clearing some of the leaves off the lawn. Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning Everyone x
Still slightly darkish here in the North West. It's always so the further North you go. Wow that rhymed.
Not the best of nights as like gillybob my brain was working overtime as it seems to do at this time of year. 5 B/days this month 1 gone,4 to go.
Hope all is well with everybody.

Morning All

A spectacular sunrise a little while ago in the north of Norfolk. All red and reflected on the underside of the clouds. By the time I’d dug the camera out it had faded!

No idea what we’re doing today. It’s up for discussion.

harrigran Wed 14-Nov-18 07:25:27

Good morning, still dark but seems to be mild.
I have a hospital appointment at 9am but have been told to attend 30 minutes earlier for preparation. Not looking foward to this as I have to go on the treadmill with ECG leads on.

Apricity Wed 14-Nov-18 07:31:02

Millymouge, does your husband know about you needing to "sort out the boarder on your current quilt?" Was that why he needed to wear a mask at the recycling centre? ?

ninathenana Wed 14-Nov-18 07:32:17

Morning all.

From a currently grey skyed Kent. The forecast is bright and sunny the same as yeesterday. It will be a shock when the cold weather arrives next week.
Housework for me too Mick Safe journey kitty

EllanVannin Wed 14-Nov-18 07:34:12

Harrigran you'll be alright. I had all that palava a few years ago and found that I'd put on the wrong shoes although slightly flattish they were leather soled and heeled and clip-clopped like a horse. I felt so embarrassed when the speed was increased and probably would have done much better if I'd worn " silent soles ".

NanKate Wed 14-Nov-18 07:35:32

Morning Mick and All.

It sounds as if you have had a good break Kitty.

Well done to your DGD Blue learning Shakespeare is not easy.

I do feel for you Gilly with your bad back and your need to go to work, it is not easy.

Brunette10 Wed 14-Nov-18 07:38:52

Good Morning to everyone. It's still quite dark here in Fife but I believe it's to rain today - ugh!. It's Wednesday so have DGS1 today, so looking forward to our little chats again. Since it's raining will prob have to occupy him in the house OR put his wellies on and get outside. Everyone seems so busy today. The run up to Christmas always gets like this smile. Hope everyone has a nice day - enjoy.

Willow10 Wed 14-Nov-18 07:46:12

I was wondering about that boarder was doing on the quilt too! grin

Willow10 Wed 14-Nov-18 07:46:45

What - not about!

cornergran Wed 14-Nov-18 07:51:22

Morning Mick, Morning All. Sky clearing over our corner of Somerset. Dentist then some tidying and cleaning after a restorative coffee. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.

DoraMarr Wed 14-Nov-18 07:55:33

Good morning from a partly sunny Birmingham. My cleaner comes this morning, so I’m taking a book for a walk then coffee in the Arts Centre so she can get on. I look forward to coming back to a lovely clean house and the cushions en pointe on the sofas. A concert this evening to look forward to as well.

GrannyGravy13 Wed 14-Nov-18 08:06:52

Marydoll Wed 14-Nov-18 08:08:19

Good morning Mick and all, raining here in Glasgow.
We have DGD today to allow mum to go to the hairdresser and get some things for DGD's birthday.
Lots of pain today, as well as a disappointing hospital visit yesterday, so I think we will just be chilling. Just like Brunette, I think it might be a "Jumping in muddy puddles day!".
Good luck harrigran, I hated the treadmill, always thought I wouldn't be able to keep up, ? Gilly I hope you get some relief and *Safe journey, Kitty.

Marydoll Wed 14-Nov-18 08:09:56

GrannyGravy, it will all be worth it, as I can testify!!! grin

Greyduster Wed 14-Nov-18 08:14:39

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull day in prospect for South Yorkshire. We had a long walk yesterday and my back is killing me this morning. Some food shopping I think. NfK I sympathise. I missed a wonderful sundog yesterday because I had put the camera back in the bag and even in the short time it took to get it back out it had faded to nothing! Have a good day folks.

Grammaretto Wed 14-Nov-18 08:17:53

Good morning from the wet n windy Scottish borders. It's hardly light so not much incentive to begin the day.
A quiet Wednesday in store. Hope you enjoyed your break Mick.
