It's raining!

I know! wonderful isn't it. ????

It can rain for the rest of the summer as far as I'm concerned. I hate hot weather and dread a heatwave being forecast.

I hope it stops in the morning though! I definitely don't want it to rain for the next ten days
If it could just rain at night that would be good!

I watered all the pots yesterday evening thinking we would have rain forecast overnight but nothing until about 4pm. I began to get worried

My DGC got drenched on the way home from school.They loved it and insisted on playing out in the rain.It is lovely to be able to breathe again and to see the grass green once again.Long may it last.

Think I will set up an export business. Scottish highland water anyone?

It started here about 5pm and hasn't stopped.

I fell asleep to the lovely sound of rain and slept well for the first time in ages. Still raining now.

We must have given you our rain. For the first morning in ages, the sun is shining through the blinds, here in the west of Scotland. Enjoy the rain, hang onto it as long as possible. We have had plenty recently.

Count yourselves lucky you get sunshine! We've had the worst rain on record in June and July not good either! Makes you want to smash the TV when it is all about how warm it is in the south! Today has been nice though.

. I agree Elainel If I hear one more time how hot it is down south, I will scream!! We have had grey skies and rain for weeks. The only thing growing in the garden is weeds.

We've just had the 1st rain for a month. It didn't last long but was better than nothing. Hope it's damped down some of the fires!!
