Thank you all. I feel a bit of a fraud now. We got to the clinic a bit early and I was called straight away. So far so good. Had an eye test, pressure test and dilating eye drops, then had to wait for them to take effect, before being called in to see Dr S. She thoroughly examined my eyes, pressure good in both, no sign of bleed reported by Specsavers, then said, we can book you into Windsor!!! I thought it was being done here, says I. Oh no, we haven't got the equipment. I don't want to go to Windsor, much easier to get to Reading, so that's where I shall be going, but when? I don't know.
Big news of the day, baby GGS was born between 12 and 1 pm, lunch time. He weighed in at 9lbs 13ozs,
but I have been sworn to secrecy about his name, until the new Mum and Dad have told everyone. I have seen a picture though, and he is gorgeous. Tonight I will have a video chat with the 3 year old, if I can get a word in edgewise that is. Have stopped being jittery now after a couple of cups of tea.
Big happy
