My DGS (aged 8) spent today being filmed for the BBC for an episode of Springwatch. He met a snake expert and went exploring for snakes and found the one they were looking for. He loved every moment of it!! Lucky boy.
Like a proud Grandma I will let you all know when it is being broadcast!

He is quite knowledgeable on the subject of snakes and someone they knew was asked to be on the programme, but he said that they would do better to have my DGS! The BBC jumped at the idea and off they went!
We are all thrilled for him - his main delight was meeting an expert on his favourite interest.
