What lovely feelings are expressed here on this subject. I lost my parents when I was in my thirties, and ,like many here, I wish they could have seen my children grow to adulthood , and seen the lovely grandchildren, and watched them grow. However, there are those who would say they can, and in my heart I believe I will see them again. Most days I think of them in some way or another and yes, after thirty five years I too am brought to tears sometimes.
I went to a funeral once where the 'Mistress of Ceremonies'said that we have all lived another life, and if anyone had told us, as perfectly formed, sentient beings in the womb, that we would soon emerge from the only world we knew into another world and live as we do on earth we would have never believed it. She said that we should always hold on to the belief that there is another life for us after this relatively short on. Those words have always been comforting.
