Some of you will be aware that I have been helping on a series of talks given by Alzeimer's Society to carers of people living with the disease.
The person who delivered the talks was fabulous but I really salute the carers. They were largely older ladies (and 1 man) caring for their spouses but we also had a young man with teenage daughters who is caring for his wife and a woman caring for her neighbour despite the fact that his son shared his house.
The spirit, love, humour and care displayed was wonderful.
I know from GN that we have wonderful men and women coping in very difficult circumstances and I just want to pay tribute to all carers.
