On Wednesday H chopped the tip of his finger off. On Thursday we discovered we had no hot water.(man coming today) yesterday was uneventful apart from spending 7 hrs at East Grinstead hospital.
Do you find problems come in threes? I hope the third thing is nothing major.

Your poor DH nina! These things are so easily done, hope it feels better very soon. It is amazing how vulnerable a finger is when it is hurting! 
Bellanonna I would have thought that the one certain place that superstition would NOT be found is the Bible surely?

Have they managed to sew the finger tip back, I shoved my finger in my circular bench saw, hospital did a miraculous job on it, apart from a lack of feeling it is now perfect.
GandTea Yes of course we women are selfish. We have to learn to understand how much men suffer - someone did say that the pain of childbirth can actually help women have some idea of what men go through when they have the flu!

GrandT No they had to shorten the bone and stitch over the end. He's lost his nail too. So index finger is half inch shorter now.
