Good morning all.

Yes I think Mick is away Nina

Just changed two of my clocks and am about 2 minutes out hmm

A bit of light sky here in the Thames Valley, but I think the rain is coming.

Enjoy your Easter Day folks.

Good morning all
. A real surprise in Stockport this morning as we have bright sun and blue sky ,not the heavy rain we were forecast.
No plans except a nice roast lamb dinner.
A happy day to you all especially if you are with family.

Morning everyone,
It's looking rather more promising than expected here in Devon - dry and bright at the moment.
DD will be coming for the day with her little girl and black lab - first venture out die DGD since going down with bronchiolitis again on Thursday. She is a lot better now, thank heavens. DS will be popping in this morning with the boys - he and DGS1 have just come back from a week in Miami so there'll be lots to tell us.
Have a lovely Easter Sunday everyone

Good Morning all. The earlier sun seems to have gone it's getting grey here and still windy.

I am planning to start making a certain three yr old a firemans outfit. The first proper sewing I have done in ages. I actually have a pattern.

Indinana Sun 27-Mar-16 07:40:18

Oh gosh, that should have read 'for DGD' shock. Stupid iPhone!

Good morning to you all, a bright to start to the day after torrential rain over-night. Lovely long afternoon with our daughter and son in law yesterday, and our son to lunch today, and after lunch with our friends on Friday, this has been a very satisfying Easter weekend. Must get on, an hour short in the day, and it always seems to take me ages to prepare just one extra meal. Enjoy your days.

Good Morning all.

The sun was shining but it is now clouding over.

Out for the day with DD2 and DH. Flea market and a National Trust property. We will be eating out this evening.

Hope you all have a good day, rain or shine.

Good morning and Happy Easter from sunny Colchester tbusmile
Quiet day today after spending the last two days with family. Drove home through the horrendous rain yesterday evening and the warning signs on the M25 were for high winds tomorrow - my Dad says she's called Katie and that is too nice a name for a storm.

harrigran Sun 27-Mar-16 08:21:42

Good morning, blue sky and sun in the north east today.
It is DD's 47th birthday tbushock and the whole family will be here to celebrate this afternoon.

Gagagran Sun 27-Mar-16 08:33:09

Happy Easter, Birthday and whatever else anyone is happy about! The sun has come out after torrential rain and wind overnight. My first thought on waking up was of the poor souls who are sleeping rough and how utterly miserable it must be for them. It is a great blessing to have a warm, safe bed to sleep in.

I am well on with preparations for visiting DD and family who are coming for lunch. I could do with a bigger oven though. It only has two shelves. I shall have to make good use of the halogen AND the microwave.

Enjoy your days everyone!

Good morning! It's lovely and sunshine here in North Leicestershire but I don't expect it to last!

We are having a lamb tagine for dinner but DD2 and I are going to see mum first. Mum is fading now and being very reflective sad

When I opened the curtains this morning there was a pair of ducks on the front lawn of the house opposite. They were looking quite confused and flew away when a woman and a dog came past leaving an egg in the middle of the grass!

annsixty Sun 27-Mar-16 08:46:46

kitty my mum also started reflecting in her last week. She asked how long she had been in the residential home and talked about her life there. It was probably her last lucid day and restlessness set in after that. That was very hard to watch. Good wishes for the days ahead flowers.

Happy Easter from sunny Durham. I've been given an egg! Kitty what an appropriate sight. I'd love to see the owners faces when they find the egg. To all those with a parent fading outflowers

Happy Easter from the Tyne Valley.
It's a morning of sunshine and heavy showers , quite a blustery day too. DH is working today from 11.00 to 17.00 so DS is coming for dinner. We are having turkey with all the trimmings, and for dessert I have made a pavlova ready to fill with raspberries and cream. I'm getting hungry already!

Good morning to you all. Cold and blustery here in South Yorkshire but DRY with intermittent ☀️! So far anyway! I have just finished icing my Easter cupcakes. They look good enough to eat! ?. Have a happy, peaceful day folks.
