Oxo cubes are best crumbled in the packet
Body Shop Hemp Intensive hand cream is great for cracked heels
I am a bit slow on the uptake blush

No. I never thought to crumble oxo cubes in the foil packet either. I love the method of putting a duvet into the cover by rolling it up, tucking the ends in, and unrolling it that I saw on Facebook, it's so easy.

We are soon to have two new and different systems of golf handicapping in use at the same time. I just went to a talk on it yawn yawn. Its supposed to encourage people to take up golf

I don't suppose anyone else is remotely interested in that are you? smile

Hens cannot swim - or at least next doors blind one didn't when she fell into my pond yesterday. Fortunately I managed to scoop her out.

The versatility of cauliflower on a low carb diet.

You don`t need to let pancake mixture `stand`

That moisturiser is as good as they say - only taken me 50+ years to give it a go!
That I've never learned to be patient - and I thought I had! So I will never ever buy and sell property ever again...the whole process is far too slow for my nerves!!!
That I've got a lot to learn about human nature!

NanaandGrampy Wed 16-Mar-16 19:05:02

The oxo Mum never crumbled in the cube :-)

Jayh Thu 17-Mar-16 09:54:55

I have just discovered that it is ok to turn the tables and let the children look after me and also that they liked doing it. It was only a temporary surrender of my independence but it was a good lesson to learn.
PS. Crumbling in the cube? I will try that.

shysal Thu 17-Mar-16 10:27:40

Jayh, I saw an Oxo crumbling demo on TV. You have to open out the folded over corners of the foil first. It worked a treat!

Jayh Thu 17-Mar-16 10:37:01

Thanks, Sal. ?

tiredoldwoman Thu 17-Mar-16 13:42:58

I've just crumbled my first Oxo cube in the foil! It worked well and no Oxo fingers - I loved watching Katy and Linda crumbling theirs though .

That sitting in a quiet sheltered spot in the garden in sun, is very satisfying at this time of year.

obieone Thu 17-Mar-16 17:54:54

That the sun isnt yellow. It is a mixture of colours.

That the Golden Balls Roundabout in Oxfordshire was named after a pub that used to be there.
And that there isn't a picture of the golden balls online, although I remember them! Like a pawnbrokers sign, but two, as I recall.

rosesarered Thu 17-Mar-16 22:56:13

Well well Alie I never knew that, but now I do.smile

rosesarered Thu 17-Mar-16 22:58:52

That tearing open a packet of cornflakes isn't a great idea ( they went everywhere!)

Grannyknot Fri 18-Mar-16 07:43:49

I "crumble" the newfangled stock cubes, the kind that come in a little plastic tub. I scoop them out with my fingers and smear them over the meat in my slow cooker. Yes of course my hands are clean. It's very satisfying grin

I should write to the manufacturers about it, next thing you'll see whatshisname doing it in the adverts.

LullyDully Fri 18-Mar-16 13:40:10

I never quite believe that 'what's his name' ever uses a stock cube, as a top chef!!!!!( unlike us lesser mortals.)

rosesarered Fri 18-Mar-16 13:43:32

I don't believe he does either Lully btw what IS his name?

Tizliz Fri 18-Mar-16 13:56:59
