Has anyone tried the Baby's bottom cream from Waitrose? [for hands/feet, bottoms even ] I'm allergic to perfume so probably won't try.

I'm not sure about stock cubes, but I have seen MPW use ready made liquid stock on a TV programme...

I never quite believe that 'what's his name' ever uses a stock cube, as a top chef!!!!!( unlike us lesser mortals.)

I "crumble" the newfangled stock cubes, the kind that come in a little plastic tub. I scoop them out with my fingers and smear them over the meat in my slow cooker. Yes of course my hands are clean. It's very satisfying

I should write to the manufacturers about it, next thing you'll see whatshisname doing it in the adverts.

That tearing open a packet of cornflakes isn't a great idea ( they went everywhere!)

That the Golden Balls Roundabout in Oxfordshire was named after a pub that used to be there.

I've just crumbled my first Oxo cube in the foil! It worked well and no Oxo fingers - I loved watching Katy and Linda crumbling theirs though .

Jayh, I saw an Oxo crumbling demo on TV. You have to open out the folded over corners of the foil first. It worked a treat!

I have just discovered that it is ok to turn the tables and let the children look after me and also that they liked doing it. It was only a temporary surrender of my independence but it was a good lesson to learn.
PS. Crumbling in the cube? I will try that.
