Heatwave forecast for the weekend!

Grey and damp in Lancashire at the moment. GD coming so hoping to get out to the park sometime this morning.

More things to get fixed today - a visit to the cobblers and purchase of superglue. Why can you never use the glue you have because the lid is stuck?

Good morning Mick and all. The awful weather has finally arrive in N.Kent. Got to travel through the Dartford tunnel today to see DD and DGS - not looking forward to the drive, but worth the pain.

BT have just called to say internet will be disconnected in an hour ... then hung up before I could ascertain why and when it will be reconnected. Grrr. Probably storm related. Hopefully done by the time I get back home.

Yep, bucketing down here in Devon too. Seems as if it's nationwide today.

I've made a promise to myself that today I will finish the dratted curtains I'm making for my DGD's bedroom. I will be SO relieved when that job comes to an end - it's not that it takes long really, but I just hate curtain making and I keep putting off doing it. On that premise, I know I should really do it quickly to get it out of the way. Procrastination get thee behind me!

It's rather damp in the Tyne Valley, not exactly raining, but very close. My knee is very painful this morning, so I'm going to rest it today. It felt like it was improving so I think I over used it yesterday. ?
