Childhood games

It's not long since we had a thread on this topic.
I liked skipping, particularly the games in which two people turned the rope and you jumped in and out to different rhymes.
Grandmother's footsteps too.
There were lots, and I've forgotten the names of most of them.

I used to just love hitting a ball against a wall. In fact, if I had a suitable wall I'd still do it now; there's something therapeutic about it. Whenever I actually played against someone on a proper tennis court [only saw my first one when I went to secondary school] I never managed to hit it back . Playing against myself it was win win....
