As some of you know, we were told 3 weeks ago that she had only a couple of days left to live.
She is in a very weakened state and drifting in and out of sleep a lot of the
time. Today DDs1 and 3 came with me. We sat in Mum's room for an hour quietly chatting to her (when she was awake) and among ourselves when she wasn't. I gave her a drink a few times. When it was obvious that she needed us to go I left the room first and I heard her say to my DDs 'She's a cheeky madam, that one, always was!'
Now, did she know it was me or did she think it was someone else?

Labelling cake tins or cutlery you have loaned.
Odd - weird and wonderful - almost unbelievable - or is it just me?
