Good essay, long, suggesting that awesomeness is a new moral imperative. It's really interesting.
I especially like the explanation of why politicians suck: they are a reflection of the society they live in. If our politicians suck, it's because the people who vote for them do too.

That's only a tiny bit of the whole thing though. I found it a really good read. The video illustrating awesomeness is good too.
(Apparently BO was joking and so am I but my grandson was not!) I think words are hijacked these days and become buzzwords. They are fashionable for a while and then they fall out of favour. Maybe 'awesome' will be replaced eventually. I'm not keen on the american word 'sucks' because it's rather an ugly meaning that's attached to it.
