Another disturbed night for me so I am awake early.
Very dark and very windy here.

Good morning from rather windy Wiltshire, it's not raining here.....yet!

Another bleary 'Good morning all.' from North Kent. Got up early to see DH off to work as I was at DDs all day yesterday and got back after he went to bed. Thought I would give him some loving TLC so hauled myself out of bed at 6 after a very broken night to make a pot of coffee for him. He was already dressed and good to go ... apparently had to be in work early this morning and left at 6:08. I was wide awake by then so no point in back to bed ... yawn!
Shouldn't be any rain here for some time - I hope it doesn't affect you badly today wherever you are ...

It's still dark in North Leicestershire but I can't hear rain. That will come as I leave the hairdresser's.

There's a lot of early risers today.
Still dark but it's dry. My birthday today so off to the farm shop to buy some of their beautiful steak for DH to cook.

Dawn hasn't occurred, the wind is howling and blowing the trees sideways and it's lashing with rain!

Still darkish here in Devon and dreary, but not raining so fingers crossed. Doctor's appointment this afternoon - routine monitoring of my PMR, but I am also going to talk to her about the crashing pain I got in my knee just before Christmas as it still isn't right and I worry that it will give way.

Good morning from Colchester. The bright sunrise is greying over but the rain is not due here until later once the storm has died down a bit. Got an Older People's Forum meeting this afternoon where I spread the word about Gransnet, probably get wet on the way home.

I have made a slow cooker stew yesterday so easy day today. Would really like to get into the garden as I get withdrawal symptoms this time of year, but the ground is terribly wet.

Good morning all, and Happy Birthday nina. The mist has burnt off and we have a pleasant morning here on the coast. We are off this afternoon to help the partially sighted and blind at their bowls session, and will leave some flowers for our friends, whose daughter and grand-children will be returning home to New Zealand after 6 weeks here. They will be feeling a little down, I think. Enjoy your days.

Happy birthday nina and be glad you are not up here. Wind and rain and grey. DH had a bad night ,nothing to do with sleeping for three hours yesterday afternoon of course. Wish he could see the connection.
