Good wishes to alf of you for a Christmas Day filled with peace and happiness. And especially will be thinking of all of you who have lost loved ones this year, those who are on their own, and those who are unwell. Love to you all x

Happy Christmas everyone.

Very still out at the moment - just about to give the birds their breakfast. At last finished icing the Christmas Tree for the GC.
Off to DD after popping in for coffee with Mum whose having lunch with sister. Mum can't cope with GC and 3 dogs and General noise on Christmas Day.

Still in bed and Father Christmas hasn't been perhaps all my gifts are downstairs. A lovely day to all.

PRINTMISS Fri 25-Dec-15 08:13:30

Happy Christmas to everyone, a bleak morning here, still dark but dry. Thinking of those who have no homes because of the floods and hope they manage to have some happiness.

loopylou Fri 25-Dec-15 08:15:56

Good morning Cari
A Very Happy Christmas to you and GNHQ too x

ninathenana Fri 25-Dec-15 08:23:03

Morning all
Happy Christmas,
thinking of those in Cumbria and area and those who are sad, lonely and sick.

daffydil Fri 25-Dec-15 08:27:57

Happy Christmas everyone.
Greyish start to the day but that is nothing when we hear that more heavy rain is expected in Cumbria. DD1 lives there but fortunately is free from flooding. My heart goes out to those who have been so badly affected with still more to come.
We are off to DD2 later.

Good morning everyone, and Happy Christmas.tchsmile
The weather in Tynedale appears dry and bright. I'm still in bed but can see the landing window! DH is up and must want company as he is clattering about downstairs.
Have a lovely peaceful day everyone.

Happy Christmas from a greyish North Leicestershire.

Santa has been here and brought some lovely presents. Now it's time for Mrs Claus to start cooking!!

Hoping everyone has the best day possible and thinking of those of you who have lost loved ones and those of you who are experiencing difficult times!

NanaandGrampy Fri 25-Dec-15 08:34:40

Merry Christmas to one and all !!

The first coffee of the day - I like to think of it as the calm before the storm :-)

Hope everyone has a wonderful day xx

Granoveve Fri 25-Dec-15 08:44:54

Happy Christmas everyone.
Thinking especially of those among us who have lost loved ones or had unwelcome upheavals; have the best Christmas you can.
Since DD is cooking this year, I thought I'd start a new tradition of a Christmas morning lie in, but thanks to FaceTime, we were up as early as ever. ?

Good Morning my lovelies and Merry Christmas to us all every one!

Grey but dry here in Melton Mowbray and we are pork pie-less by choice (they have it here for Christmas breakfast often fried!).

Traditional day for us, panettone for breakfast, off to Church champagne and presents when we come back, big late lunch, The Queen and a snooze.
Juts DH and I this year and we miss the family but a quiet one is what is needed after the hectic autumn.

Have a good day and pop in later if you have a mo. tchsmile

annsixty Fri 25-Dec-15 08:51:29

Only just now Nellie , you have missed Victoria Wood's deadline of October.

Humbertbear Fri 25-Dec-15 08:51:54

We watched the sunrise over the North Sea. We are adults only today and opening our first bottle of champagne of the day. No cooking but loads of presents in our stockings.
Should mention that we are not at home but away for the week and are surrounded by people who have done the same.
I recommend it.

Happy Christmas everyone, haven't looked at the weather yet, though the TV says rain. Christmas Day with all my lovely family at DS's house. Just got to work out logistics of getting pressies and food to car. DS just says "you can manage Mum", don't you just love them!!
Thinking of all those families up in Cumbria who aren't so fortunate.

I'm in Taunton today: it's damp and gloomy so far and I'm developing another cold. (Is it coincidence that, since my flu jab, I've had one cold after another?) Still, my DS has brought me a nice cup of tea, Father Christmas has left a stack of goodies under the tree and my DDIL is cooking yummy lamb for Christmas dinner so all I have to do for now is lounge in bed in my cosy thermal Jim jams. Happy Christmas everyone!
