Torrential rain and windy overnight but there's a glow on the horizon and I think we might glimpse the sun today.

Morning All. Clear, dry but still windy in our corner of Somerset. Horrendous drive back from Wales yesterday. So many road accidents in heavy rain and strong winds. Catching up today. Hope Friday is kind to you.

Very windswept Wiltshire this morning. Had to pull over and stop when driving home last night, the windscreen wipers couldn't clear the rain fast enough, very scary.

Good morning from Colchester. Fell asleep last night to the sound of heavy rain and woke to a dry morning, below double figures for the first time for a while.
Waiting for deliveries again this morning, the main downside of online shopping.

Good morning all. Like others have experienced, torrential rain later yesterday but dry and calm this morning in Stockport.
I shopped yesterday as DH had a GP appt so we combined the two things so a lazyish day today.

Good morning. North Leicestershire is quite bright this morning but I doubt it will stay that way!

Another busy day in prospect. A trip to the butcher's, the library, the tailor's and then Mum. The best bit about today though is DD2 and her best friend from school are coming for dinner, a sleepover and then going off Christmas shopping without children or husbands. It seems like only yesterday that they were here getting ready for nights out with lots of giggling and shrieking.

Physio taped my leg with something called Kinesio tape . Witchcraft said DH but it seems to have helped the puffiness. So I'm starting the day with a smile. Christmas Fair today in Durham . Lots of really nice things to buy and the Children's lantern procession to the Cathedral with St Nicholas tomorrow. It's usually enchanting to see.

A clear, dry and bright-ish morning in Devon. 'Sunny intervals' today, according to my met office app, so that's encouraging .
Well I had my hospital appointment yesterday and it turned out that I'm not heading for surgery as I'd thought [relief emoticon]. Consultant wants to try other options first, which include exercises. I will start this regime today and hope it helps.
