It's looking quite cloudy in North Leicestershire but it's not too cold.

I've got a humdinger of a cold so I'm going to Sainsbury's and then sitting down! We are supposed to be going to see Mack and Mabel tonight but 8 think that will be a step too far.

A very moisty, soggy morning it is too. We had some very heavy showers yesterday afternoon and overnight - fantastic rainbows (in the afternoon, not overnight!), but it's clearer now with an apricot glow.

Our lunchtime with friends has been cancelled as a hospital appointment popped up for him so possibly a bit of Christmas shopping instead.

Good morning everyone.
Bright start with fairly clear skies in Tynedale today. Preparations to make as DD, SiL and four DGC may well be coming for an overnight stay tomorrow. Beds to change etc. Don't feel like it though, I have a swollen knee, cause unknown, painful to walk about on. Visit to the GP seems likely.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Yes the sun is peeping out. It will probably be short lived as a cloudy day is forecast. Warmer than of late already though.
I am going to a preview of the Colchester Winter Wonderland tonight. They give you a glass of bubbly and expect you to test the ice rink, I think I'll test the market stalls instead
