An apricot glow to the garden this morning. And breezy. Very autumnal.

Off to a friends for lunch today. It'll be lovely to have a catch up.

Morning All. Dry in our corner of Somerset. Sadly not a glow to be seen. I'm envious. Very grey outside. Batch cooking this morning then out later. Mundane Monday for me! Hope Monday is kind to you.

I just turned around from admiring the wonderful sunrise with tiny fluffy clouds and long streaked of colour - and the most enormous blackness is sneaking in from the west!

Good morning everyone.
Here in mid Essex we also had a lovely pink streaked sky earlier on but it now looks a mixture of grey and blue with the grey winning. Ordinary Monday for me today just odd jobs as the cleaning team come tomorrow so I don't feel the need to do much.

Good morning from a grey but warm Colchester.
Family History Group this afternoon. A new meeting place so I have to go early to scout out the refreshment situation, a very important part of any meeting!

It's just after midnight here in California, but we're in for a wet Monday I believe. Much needed rain.

So dark again here in Stockport but at least it is dry. Yesterday was very wet at times. I must do a bit of shopping as my cousin and two friends are coming on Wednesday, I haven't seen them for over a year and they will be here for lunch. I am so looking forward to their visit, my cousin is like a breath of fresh air and has just retired so hopefully I will see her more often.

Ooo, angmhay, it's lovely to hear from someone in California. We were there for a month last winter and it's so beautiful. Glad it looks as if you're going to get a bit of rain, a pity we can't export some from here!

Grey and very warm in north essex this morning

Good morning everyone.
Dull grey and wet in Tynedale, still breezy but not as wild as yesterday. I have lettings agents to phone this morning on behalf of my DD. She is looking for a big house (6 bedrooms) to rent as her current landlord wants to sell his property in the spring. Wish me luck.

Chucking it down with rain here in south Manchester, and looking set in for the day. My plan was to emulsion paint the bathroom and toilet today, but as yet unsure whether I am in the mood for that. I suspect I have made a blunder in buying 'value' emulsion paint which will probably splatter all over the place and require multiple coats. Or I may just hunker down with my Kindle ...

Good morning everyone! Am new to site ??. It's a dark wet day at top of Cumbria and mob app says same all week.....Am off to gym, then getting Cocker spaniel clipped out! I know am cruel, but too much cast hair, he's got a warm coat tho can pop on!

Yes ninathenana I am quite new to the site. I found it when we were back visiting in October. I have lived in the States for the past 25 years but come "home" every year. I will always miss England:-(
