gordino Sat 26-Sept-15 13:00:22

I mean profiles silly me.

gordino Sat 26-Sept-15 15:15:52

oh dear boring people again lol.

annsixty Sat 26-Sept-15 15:45:20

Well as you haven't " gone blue" we wouldn't to be able to see yours anyway.

Elegran Sat 26-Sept-15 16:02:58

I'll tell you a secret, gordino - you ARE talking to nobody. No-one is here. It is all made-up. This forum doesn't exist. You imagined it.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 16:04:05

I am totally convinced that the absence of the profiles has got something to do with the hacker. But I could be barking completely up the wrong tree.

Does anyone know if profiles are still available on Mumsnet?

loopylou Sat 26-Sept-15 16:05:46

Do you mean you're boring people here again ?
I'm virtual too.....a complete figment of your imagination.......

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 16:05:54

gordino are you a man or a woman?

loopylou Sat 26-Sept-15 16:07:28

Not available on Mumsnet either jingl

Mysteriouser and mysteriouser confused

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 16:13:49

I reckon it's to do with the hacker. Perhaps Mumsnetters put more in their profiles than we do on here.

soontobe Sat 26-Sept-15 16:24:25

In what way to do with the hacker?
He/she nicked them shock grin
He/she messed with mumsnet/gransnet systems and they cant get them back at gransnet HQ or are at the end of a long techie list of jobs or
gransnet dont want us to have them anymore?
Or something else.

Elegran Sat 26-Sept-15 16:48:17

Forgot to tell you, gordino, that this site is a miracle of artificial intelligence. It is programmed to recognise the waves from the brains of people aged fifty or over, particularly women, and to post answers suitable for them. It doesn't usually respond to the waves of males, and almost never to anyone under the age of about 23.

So if you are a very young male you should be very worried if you are getting answers. It could mean that there is something abnormal about the wiring of your brain. If you are a grandparent, of course, you will be quite at home.

shysal Sat 26-Sept-15 17:28:06

I have noticed that new members all seem to be 'black' as opposed to 'blue', so wondered whether it is not currently possible to enter and save profiles.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 17:31:15

soon "he or she has nicked them". grin grin

Galen Sat 26-Sept-15 17:57:16

Gnhq are aware

gordino Sat 26-Sept-15 20:16:07

how do I go blue then.

gordino Sat 26-Sept-15 20:19:51

we don't know anything about each other on here strange, very strange.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 20:29:25

gordino you "go blue" by putting a profile on, but you can't do it at the moment.bwell, I suppose you could but it wouldn't show up.

You need to go to the homepage by clicking on the Gransnet banner at the top. Then scroll right down to the columns at the bottom of the page. Click on "my Gransnet" in the last column, and then click on "set up a profile". But of course, it won't show at the moment.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 20:30:24

You could tell us a bit about yourself on here now if you like. smile

glassortwo Sat 26-Sept-15 20:32:45

We are a nosy lot gordino grin

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 20:45:38

At the moment you just get techie gobbledygook when you try to 'save' a profile, so it's a waste of time filling one in.

glassortwo Sat 26-Sept-15 20:48:20

*jingle8 think you're theory is right.

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 20:52:21

I wonder why someone doesn't pop up and tell us?

jinglbellsfrocks Sat 26-Sept-15 20:53:16

You out there Luce?

Indinana Sat 26-Sept-15 20:55:52

D'you reckon the profiles been deliberately hidden by GN until they have caught the hackers and strung them up by the short and curlies are absolutely sure they've made the site hacker-proof?
