Wouldn't get any identifying info from mine, but some do give the area (sometimes even the town) where they live and post photos. Better safe than sorry I suppose.

As someone else asked, are profiles available on Mumsnet?

There is another thread on this subject and HQ said the Tech Team have been reminded that Profiles need to be reinstated. I commented that they were blooming well taken their time in doing this.

At the moment you just get techie gobbledygook when you try to 'save' a profile, so it's a waste of time filling one in.

gordino you "go blue" by putting a profile on, but you can't do it at the moment.bwell, I suppose you could but it wouldn't show up.

You need to go to the homepage by clicking on the Gransnet banner at the top. Then scroll right down to the columns at the bottom of the page. Click on "my Gransnet" in the last column, and then click on "set up a profile". But of course, it won't show at the moment.
