Magnum and manages to always get them before anyone else. it's a sort of special ability.

You see, I have every sympathy. White choc Magnums wouldn't last a day in our freezer. Daren't even put them in there. (because of me! )

This made me chuckle because I'm still hiding stuff from myself! On Tuesday, rooting in the cupboard for flour ( I don't bake often) I found chocolate bars in two different places! Dark choc with chilli and dark choc with ginger, yummy.
I've moved them now to a more accessible hiding place.

I am not popular we have to hide EVERYTHING from GD who is like a heat seeking missile where food detection is concerned choc biscuits and tasty goodies end up in my bedroom cupboard (not magnums though) they would melt so only buy one pack at a time when we can all eat them together ....I have to hide crisps and savouries from myself ..not very well I might add

If those two are from Aldi Lona then they are my favourites too. I have one small bar every day.

Don't any of you eat Cadbury's ice creams? They are much more yummy!

I'm not a fan of ice cream but love white chocolate and white chocolate Magnums. Fortunately for me (and unfortunately for my waistline) DH can't stand white chocolate

I hide my supply of chocolate from Mr. hjj. I usually put it in the fridge among the vegetables. He never looks there. He was told by his doctor not to eat chocolate due to having hypertension. It hasn't stopped him, but he now only buys the mini magnum type lollies from Aldi.

Everything nice has to be hidden in this house - from DBH, who also insists that he doesn't like sweet things. We even have to hide strawberries!

We have a new lot of plants this year, so not as much fruit. DBH has taken to popping down the garden early in the morning for a stroll, the result being that there are never any big fat ripe strawberries left for DS and I. I have taken to going down really late at night and picking almost-ripe strawberries and leaving them in a greenhouse, just leaving him a couple.

Early the other morning, he went down and there were none at all. I put a few back without him seeing, then sent DS down to 'pick' some. DBH kept very quiet. Imagine the look on his face when DS strolled past him, a large handful of ripe strawberries in his hand, happily eating them! I shall never ever own up to that one.

My ploy of hiding chocolate bars in the freezer misfired badly when I decided to try biting into a frozen bar, dislodged half a tooth which had to be crowned and cost me a fortune. A lesson which I have hitherto heeded.

White chocolate magnums - never heard of these - I must rectify that immediately!

Oh, you must, Luckygirl. They are one of life's sweetest delights!

I have never liked white chocolate which doesn't seem to me like chocolate at all. Really dark chocolate for me! Except that I have just discovered the Weightwatchers' points value for a very small (35gms) bar of Green and Blacks!

It's very encouraging to find that others have to hide certain edibles! I was beginning to think this household was weird .

I have to hide any bananas Minibags and I might want to eat. MrB can eat them by the bunch when still not quite ripe enough for our taste.

I think it's awful that I have to do it, but honestly I call them The Locusts. DBH blames DS, but DBH is far worse. I could never put a whole batch of any cakes or biscuits out, he just thinks he can have twice as many. I have food hidden in my wardrobe before xmas and chocolate at Easter - the mice got in there and he kept on saying 'why on earth would they want to go in there?' but sadly mice also have a sweet tooth! I used to be able to hide things in the outside fridge, he has discovered that place recently.

I do love mini magnums - even the white one, which is a bit too sweet but, you know - MAGNUM! I have to hide them behind a freezer drawer in a small space on top of the motor. One box lasts me about two weeks, but if he found them he would have two a day. He is a real chocaholic, so we can't have any in the house that he knows of, apart from special occasions. It makes planning cakes and desserts quite hard, I have found my mending basket is the best place for that. Under the salad in the fridge drawer lasted for years, until he took up athletics and his body became his temple.

I learned what I was up against during our first Christmas after we got married. I'd done all the food shopping (money was very tight) and was so looking forward to the Christmas Eve preparations.

I didn't bother hiding anything because my parents had been very strict about frugality where food was concerned. Nobody would have dared sneak anything out of the cupboards.

Imagine my horror when I decided to fill the fruit bowl and display the chocolates and nuts only to discover DH had eaten Christmas!!

I detest white chocolate - it's like sweet margarine.
Just love dark bitter chocolate.
Feel really bad when I find that it's only me has eaten it, so have to buy more and pretend that it's the original buy

Rubyson pinches everything in sight, even my sweets when I have bought him his own.

So Rubymum has bought some chilli sweets from Ebay, from the joke shop and lets see how his mouth goes on when he pinches one of these!

coolgran65 I don't see the point in white chocolate either. It's just fat if there is no chocolate flavour in it.
Thats like my opinion of brie cheese. A waste of my fat intake when I could have that same amount of fat in a chunk of tasty cheese.

Mice do indeed love chocolate. I discovered this one Christmas when the chocolate ornaments on the tree were nibbled. Sadly, we then knew what to use as bait in the mousetrap.
