Do any of you live in York? As the title suggests, I'm looking for some help please.
A group of us is looking for an evening venue for 18 in York one Saturday evening in the summer.
Ideally, we'd like to hire a room somewhere that will allow us to bring our own wine (there are some particularly fine wines on order from one of the group!) and arrange our own catering, but none of us lives there; we've just chosen it as a central point.
6 of our group will be travelling from the US and Aus.
In the absence of hiring a room, we'd compromise with an Indian buffet in a restaurant's private function room.
Can anyone suggest anything please? Although it's a few months away, we need to get ourselves organised.
Any venues suggested will be considered.... thanks
