Lookin mild, grey and windy at the moment in Kent Michael. No frost ( bonus no car to de-ice.) it's a team day today...ALL DAY.dont even ask sad waste of time and public money. Just hours of listening to managers 'big ing themselves up and talking out their arses . They will ask how we feel but won't listening. They'll Shooting down the brave few who dare to speak up. It'll be shite frustrating. Double double sad

Kiora Wed 28-Jan-15 08:09:24

Sorry hope the rest of you have a better day than me sad

annsixty Wed 28-Jan-15 08:13:07

Good Morning all. It is lashing down with rain and blowing a gale here in Stockport,a day in I think (no change there then).

hildajenniJ Wed 28-Jan-15 08:20:56

Good morning everyone.
It is wet, windy and miserable in Northumberland this morning. The temperature was 7.5°c when I left for home, when I got here it had dropped to 4.5°c. I hope it has stopped raining in 30 minutes time as I am heading out to the hairdresser.
Have a good day everyone, you included Kiora.

Lona Wed 28-Jan-15 08:23:05

Yes, annsixty it's wet and windy here too. (Near the airport)
I'm getting over the nasty cold bug which floored me at weekend, but I'm going to exercise class for a gentle stretch!
Coffee with the "girls" will cheer me along later.

bootie41 Wed 28-Jan-15 08:28:53

Hope everyone has a good day.

Juliette Wed 28-Jan-15 09:32:58

Brendawymms Wed 28-Jan-15 09:50:37

Good morning everyone.
Wet and windy here also in East Sussex.
Good day out yesterday crafting and inventing projects.
Four weeks today we are , hopefully, off on holiday.

Mishap Wed 28-Jan-15 09:59:20

Oh Kiora - that brings back memories! How many times have I sat through a day of bulls**t and thought what a waste of public money it was! I am glad to be out of it now! Grit your teeth, keep your peace and dream of putting your feet up when you get home.

whenim64 Wed 28-Jan-15 10:03:43

It's getting wild here in south Manchester. I've already been out to tie my back gate to the post as it's ripped the bolt off. Whipping up quite a storm.

petallus Wed 28-Jan-15 10:11:22

It was mild here until just now. It has suddenly started to rain hard and a strong wind has sprung up.

I've got to go out later to see a physio. After that I'm staying in.

Greyduster Wed 28-Jan-15 10:18:04

Very wet and windy here in S. Yorks at the moment. Won't be doing much today except domestics and bottling some home made wine (damson). Expecting snow this evening and tommorrow.

KatyK Wed 28-Jan-15 10:33:58

Calming down a bit here after a wet and blustery night. Kiora my sympathies. Before I retired we had SO many of those days - pointless training courses and meetings, puffed up managers talking down to us. Like you say a waste of taxpayer's money. I hope it's not too bad.

Anne58 Wed 28-Jan-15 10:36:34

Rain and wind here in North Devon.

Kiora you could play b*lls@h#t bingo!

Ariadne Wed 28-Jan-15 10:37:35

Wind whipping in from the sea; sleet and rain and greyness. A day to hibernate, methinks, except I have to go to have the clips from the last operation removed. Still, DH will set me down at the door. sunshine

loopylou Wed 28-Jan-15 10:38:12

Howling a gale here, not raining, yet!
Done shopping and now trying to buck up my enthusiasm for studying and it's not working!

harrigran Wed 28-Jan-15 10:52:48

Good morning, wild and windy night and we have snow forecast for tonight.
DH went to our other home on Monday night and found the boiler had died so had to return yesterday for engineer. Surprise, surprise engineer says you can't get spare parts will have to be replaced. Boiler is in a cupboard, built to house it, and they are going to have to pull the kitchen apart. We have it almost ready for sale and didn't need this extra expense and upset.
DH has a third trip to Cumbria on Friday for the boiler people.
My computer is playing silly b*****s and crashed yesterday so I have a fancy it is on it's last legs too.
