Good morning Mick and everyone. Still dark and damp here. I'm going to DGD's nursery nativity show this morning

Morning all. It sounded like hail in the night and pretty chilly this a.m. Off to play Scrabble in a bit, anyway.

Well It was a good morning until I looked out of my window to see that foxes had dug up patches of turf in my front garden!!! I only had it layed yesterday! Even more frustrating is im not well enough to go out there to sort it out and the gardener can't get here till tuesday....

Morning all, dark cold and damp here in Stockport.up early to go to 5yr old's Nativity and just had phone call to say he has swollen glands and isn't going to school.

Morning all. Wasn't it cold last night.
Another dull and damp day in East Sussex. For the first time ever I am cooking an oxtail. £8 it cost me, which I thought pricy, but seems to be lots of meat on it. It's already in the slow cooker with half a bottle of wine and some leaks. Will add other vegetables and herbs later.

Good morning all. We have a brighter morning here - anything would be brighter than yesterday! Washing on then off to play bowls with the men, such excitement for an old lady. Enjoy your days.

Good morning all. Bright morning in Northumberland, but with a very cold wind. There is a Christmas Market in Carlisle today so we might take a trip.

Raining here in North Devon, which makes me a bit [thcangry] as I need to mop the hall and kitchen floors. They won't look good for long, as despite many demonstrations the cat's never have got the hang of paw wiping!

Quite bright and dry here and its the Christmas lights switch on and fireworks in town tonight and my GS is coming so I'm excited!! daffydil can you please cheer up the Weather in Colchester I am coming over tomorrow MIL is 101!!! Miilsoms at Dedham for lunch though with rest of the family for Christmas present swaps.

Good morning everyone. Damp but the sun is shining so not too bad a start to the day. One more coffee then I shall refer to my to do list. GDs pointed out party dresses they liked in M & S yesterday so I will pop up there later in the hope they are still there.

4c today but dull and damp. The pile of old silage in the cows field is smoking nicely and the cows are all standing around it I wonder if they can feel a bit of heat?

Good morning. There were raindrops on the windows earlier, but the sun is coming through now. I can't believe how many trees still have leaves on them. There haven't been any really good gales around here recently. As far as I'm concerned, if there are still leaves, it's still autumn!

Good morning everyone. Sunny and bright again today but the nights have been getting colder all week, down to 6.3c last night. Have to sort out clothes for going to England next week. Better find some warm ones.

Have spent the morning de-toddlering the house. DGS1 is coming for the weekend - plus dog. After last Friday's trial run we discovered a whole load more things which are obviously highly desirable to a 14month old who thinks toys are boring!

Beautiful in Brum. Going to the hospital this afternoon for DH's LAST radiotherapy session of 37 days.
