Goalkeeper gloves for GS

Help! I had little girls and am all at sea here. GS aged 6 would like some goalkeeper gloves for Christmas - I did not even know that goalkeepers wore gloves!

Clearly It would be good to get the right trendy thing, but I do not know where to start. When I look online there are hundreds of them!- and no indication as to what size to get.

If anyone is a football kit expert then I would value your advice.

If you live near one of the bigger football clubs or town centres try the club shop. My DGS loves his Joe Hart gloves from the Manchester City shop! I think they come in age based sizes. Many shops have an online presence so if he has a favourite team this might fit the bill.

JB Sports and similar shops have racks full of goalie gloves. Just bought two pairs for my grandsons. They cost between £9 and £15. The smallest size fits a 6 year old.

Sports shop in town. ask an assistant if you can find one to point you in the right direction of the children's football section. I have just recently been introduced to the buying football kit malarky for my six year old.

I'm functioning online at the moment rather than going round the shops as I cannot drive for a while. I have sent off for some and will just have to send them back if the size does not look right. They have some sort of known design label, so I hope that this will fit the bill. Personally I am not impressed with all this label stuff, but might as well try and get the wee lad what will make him happy.

I only shop online nowadays as I just can't walk more than a few steps and I find most shops too crowded to manoeuvre around in my luggie. Either stands are placed too close together or people are standing gossiping and blocking up the aisles.
I've found these days that I seem to have donned a permanent invisibility cloak.( obviously been hanging around with Klingons too much)
