Good Morning Thursday

Mornin' Mick, morn in' Everybody. Sunny here after yesterday's horribleness (horizontal hail at times). I hope it's not too windy as we're taking possession of our new little boat today and have to drive her to her new home. Neither of us have driven a boat with an outboard and a steering wheel and I foresee a rather zig zag progress. It's a good thing there's not too many people around yet on the Broads!

Mom in? Stupid iPad!

Good morning everyone. Bright in East Sussex at the moment. Yesterday had a funnel cloud in the valley that touched down briefly. The sky was very black with hail and thunder. Put picture on Twitter where it was retweeted several hundred times.

Fantastic Brenda. Are you a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society?

Good morning all, cold again here on the south coast and looks like a showery day. Off to play short mat bowls, and then our get together lunch for the end of the short mat season. Looking forward to an enjoyable morning. Hope the boat arrives safely with you on board Nfk Enjoy your days everyone.

It is dry here at present. I just hope that the rain stays away long enough for the fellow to come and cut my grass in an hour's time. I can breathe a sigh of relief once that has been done. The sun is even shining- I may get my washing out.

Good morning, grey and dull but the rain has stopped.
Today is DD's 45th birthday but I can't speak to her because she is at a conference in Lisbon

Cold, wet and miserable here in Devon. But I'm feeling proud because for the first time in my life I managed to wire up a three-pin plug correctly.
Yippee!

Good morning all, dull and grey here and feels a lot colder, rain is forecast too. I hope it's brighter in Lisbon for your daughter harrigran.

Just heard ATOS have been sacked!
What happens now?
Watch this space!

henetha does this mean all the other plugs in your house are incorrectly wired?

I'm feeling very old today! It's my daughter's 40th birthday!

dusty it is 11 degrees and raining in Lisbon but she is in a windowless venue anyway. DD lives in Brussels but she hoped to get some sunshine while she was away for a week, sad, it is warmer in Brussels.
Happy birthday to Galen's DD for her 40th.

Galen it is my son's 40th birthday in June - we must have been child brides by the look of us !

Boat is now safely in her new mooring. We thought it was supposed to be dry today and wet tomorrow. Got that wrong! It rained, very wetly just as we were leaving for our three hour chug up the river. And it was cold! Very cold! We'd taken the sides off the cockpit cover for access and visibility - that was a mistake too!

Going for a Indian tonight to warm up!

It's been a cold, sometimes sunny, often showery day. Forecast sounds a bit more promising for tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I wish! I was 29 when I had her.

Happy birthday to your daughter Galen

I was 28 Galen and deemed an older mum !

Apparently I was an elderly primagravida! I was 28 and DD1 was 40 in December.
Now 28 would be considered young.

I was 27 when I had her brother and was still regarded as an elderly primip!
DD 37 when she had dgd1 39 with Dgd2
She used to ask me why I was so much older than her friends mums when she was small

My DM was nearly 39 when she had me (no. 3) and MIL was 42 when she had BIL.

At least it wasn't 1 per year as in the previous century!

That brought a smilel to my chubby cheeks, Galen. Yes! - probably all the plugs in my house are wired weirdly!
You are a mere child, by the way, to have a 40 year old daughter.
My sons are now 54 and 50...
