Faux sheepskin coat

Hi!
I've bought a lovely fake sheepskin coat in the sales which I am dying to wear. However, after trying on it left a trail of fluffy bits on my top, (trail is an understatement, more like the full spaghetti junction!)
Please could you advise me on what to do so I can wear it before it gets too warm!!

Turn it inside out and hoover it?

Use a sticky roller , type that is used to defluff jumpers
