Something that you like to sit down and watch when you badly need to relax from the stresses and strains of everyday life?

Something that has a really quiet, soothing atmosphere. It may even be one of the many nature-inspired videos on YouTube (which is what I tend to watch).

I think we could all do with de-stressing these days!

Canal boat diaries
Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing
There was also the series that the late lamented Timothy West and Prunella Scales did about canal journeys.

In fact, anything involving canals or rivers.

I keep forgetting to watch Canal Boat Diaries on Monday nights. Can you remind me what it’s on?

Been watching New Amsterdam since it started quite a while ago. Whilst usually involving some emergency or other I enjoy the characters and story lines.

As some people mentioned, old British films! And just when I thought I'd seen everything, Dial M for Murder (Hitchcock) was on last weekend and I'd never seen it. I was thoroughly gripped! I too love the variations of Death in Paradise and especially liked the Australian one.

For anyone that liked Mortimer and Whitehouse’s fishing programme, there was a very enjoyable programme on channel five along the same lines called Sam and Ade go Birding. Even if you’re not remotely interested in bird watching this wonderful, empathetic, at times very funny pairing of Sam West and Adrian Edmondson is worth every minute. Sadly there are only three episodes.

Repeats of the Walton’s I’ve been watching it ever since it started in the 70s and I have watched the repeats so often I could tell you what’s going to be said next.
But I find it so relaxing and such a cosy feel good series with such great actors

I'm rewatching "Very Ralph' on YouTube about the life and career of Ralph Lauren.

It's a fascinating story of rags to riches. Features his three very different homes, his children and Ricky his wife of over 60-years. Plus many famous guests.

My third time of watching and I notice more each viewing.

As I said, it's on YouTube, and is (c)
1hr 45mins long.

All Creatures Great and Small, both the original and the new ones. It has gentle stories with animals and lovely scenery.

Gardeners World.
Art Documentaries.

Old stuff from BBC iPlayer about Art and Culture. Comedy and old broadcasts of Steptoe and Parkinson.

I think you might love the film I watched on Channel 4 this afternoon whilst keeping cool. It was 'Billy and Molly: an Otter Love Story' It was quite moving but lovely.

Right now I spotted The 70s and 80s Kitchen and I’m really enjoying the nostalgia!

"Would I Lie to You" - it's on every evening on Channel 19. I've seen most episodes numerous times but it still makes me laugh. Love the chemistry between David/Lee/Rob, I'm sure they're good friends.
