If anyone has missed this film on Netflix please do your heart a favour and watch it - it is wonderful. Sally Field is perfect for her role, and still looks beautiful! A nice heart-warming story, and I loved every minute of it.

Agreed. It is a lovely film, and a bit different from the usual. It’s suitable for children, too, so if you’re looking after grandchildren on a rainy day it would be a perfect family watch.

I’m trying to avoid watching it as the book is the Bookclub’s choice for this month. Can’t watch till I’ve finished reading!

I've recommended this film so many times, as I did the book. I didn't think my daughter would watch it when I said one of the main roles was taken by an octopus. But she did, and loved it too.

I did think the book leant itself to a sequel, but the film didn't, which is a pity.
