Legends is very good. The Boroughs was great.

Cabowich Mon 01-Jun-26 17:21:47

I enjoyed Legends. Remarkably Bright Creatures is just wonderful.

MissAdventure Mon 01-Jun-26 17:22:53

I fought the law.
Played by Sheridan Smith.
I think it was a four parter, based on real life, and in collaboration with woman she plays.

I really, really enjoyed it.

That was brilliant.

She is brilliant actress.
I'm not a tv or serial watcher, and have no idea who's who, but my neighbour came in mine, and insisted i watch it.

I'm so glad she did.

Remarkably Bright Creatures seconded by me.

I also enjoyed Thelma.

I’m half way through Legends.
It’s very good.

Thelma was great. I’ve just started The Boroughs.

Am enjoying Mindhunter, set in the 1970s in USA. FBI agents exploring the psychology behind acts of murder. I also enjoyed Department Q, a Scottish series - though it may not appeal to all because there was a lot of swearing.

Legends, The Boroughs, Stranger Things, Dark, Katla, and many more, in fact too many to mention.

MT62 Tue 02-Jun-26 17:03:29

Legends fab once passed first episode.
Griselda was fab & based on true story.

Thank you there are loads we haven’t watched

We are watching four seasons atm I re watched season 1 with my husband as he hadn’t watched it and were now on season 2. Ann is my favourite, she’s such an underestimated character who is giving and open

MT62 Tue 02-Jun-26 19:11:38

‘The watcher’ based on a true story

MissAdventure Tue 02-Jun-26 19:12:41

Ooh that sounds like my cup of tea!

Yes that mind hunter is brilliant.
So was ‘Monster’ the Ed Gein story but not for the faint hearted.

Just started The Boroughs and I’m loving it. I thought it would be a kind of American Thursday Murder Club which I wasn’t keen on but it’s so much better.

merlotgran Tue 02-Jun-26 20:30:06

Funny you should say that. I was just thinking today that I’d love a little coffee machine for pods. I’m getting bored with instant decaff. 😂

merlotgran Tue 02-Jun-26 20:31:06

Oops. Sorry. Wrong thread. 😂😂

CanadianGran Tue 02-Jun-26 20:36:37

I've enjoyed Apex , Nyad, and the lighthearted series Fisk.

Stranger Things is addictive. I loved it.

Oreo Tue 02-Jun-26 23:08:32

Then you would enjoy Dark Magenta8 👍🏻

A very good British film is I Came By. The lead role is played by the Earl of Grantham😁not a sunny kind of role!😲

Oreo Tue 02-Jun-26 23:10:45

Just watched Apex tonight, it’s very good, nail biting in fact.
