How many more of these are we going to get? So-called celebs getting free holidays, showing us stuff we have seen many times before. Latest offering is Favourite Railway Stations by the remaining Hairy Biker who I have never heard of. If I see one more free trip up Snowdon.......

Do these celebs manage to take their spouses oo children these trips. Even if only for night or a few days.

I wouldn't put it passed them?

Yes. A mention for Ben Fogle.

A lovely chap. And he visits interesting people and interesting places too.

New series has just started. Have a problem with Ch5 catchup at the moment, though as, every time there’s a commercial break the programme goes back to the beginning. I do find them interesting. Not exactly a travel programme but I watch Wild Earth a lot of the time; it’s a live (ish) safari programme filmed in South Africa. They basically just drive around looking for animals , chatting away as they do so. I’m currently watching a baboon sitting in a tree scratching itself. Each to their own, I suppose!

Totally agree and these ones that advertise competitions! Get jollies all over the world....

The thing about Simon Reeve is that this sort of show is what he does. It's all the actors and actresses who get sent on these jollies that grind my gears.

Anyone remember Francesco. Da Mosta's Venice series, wonderful. We fell in love with Sicily watching Montelbano!

I dont watch any travel programmes on the uk tv channels.
I watch travel on Youtube by several you tubers with their own channels.
The cruise ones are excellent showing from embarkation to disembarkation and everything about the ships.

I.e. Travel vlog Jamie, Emmas Cruises.Midas Travel. Namy does cruiseing.
If you subscribe to their channels( which is free) there are lots on there to watch.

I found him very attractive to watch, and easy to listen to. (Francesco).

Made you want to visit Italy.

Oh I loved Francesco. He brought out a beautiful book about Venice which I got at his book signing in Waterstones.

Having a duvet day I’ve just watched Jane McDonald on Ch 5 and I quite enjoyed it ( apart from the singing). I used to watch some of her old cruising programmes during the pandemic.

🤫 We're not allowed to say that wink

Did you watch here visiting that Falkland island - thousands of sheep and only five people, I think?

her not here

I'm going to lob this stylus out of the porthole window in a minute. It has a mind of its own.

There are a few comments here about the lack of disabled travel show hosts. Has no one watched Ade Adepitan?
