I love it, the whole family watch it, makes for great light hearted discussions at supper time

Its your choice that you don’t watch it Grandmagrewit but why would you want to read these posts if it’s not for you I find that strange
I too thought Claudia looked lovely in most of her clothes
Although the show is around deceiving and quick thinking it also showed a lot of love and loyalty and friendship and when the contestants were out of character they mostly came across as nice people and after all it is a game, even board games that kids play will have some lying or deceiving in them

I've watched and enjoyed, but hope they don't overdo it and flog it to death!
I'm very lucky as I used to live in Ardross and now live not too far away from it. I've friends who work and worked at the castle so have been in it several times. It's beautiful and set in beautiful surroundings. The ideal setting for The Traitors, excellent choice of venue and Claudia is an excellent presenter, certainly makes it a great show.

As there are about 200 crew involved, plus the contestants, that must be quite a challenge. I guess the crew realise their jobs are at risk if the name of the winner gets out. It will ruin the whole series and cost the BBC thousands.

It must be difficult for the contestants when they return to their families, who will be gasping to know whether they won! None of them can say a word to anyone, so presumably the money doesn't get released to the winner until now.

Only the last 3 and crew knew the result. Apparently.

I did not realise there were two Australian series so am working my way through series one, might have to have a break before series two or it will all become too repetitive.

I was interested to notice that in the USA version the contestants had bedrooms in the castle, which seems much more practical.

Did you actually get to stay in that castle with all the contestants, or were you whisked off to a hotel at the end of the "None of us stayed in the castle. None of us. They all stayed in the airport hotel in the Inverness airport [laughs]. How glamorous—you come to Scotland, and you stay in the Inverness airport hotel. And I stayed in a little house in Inverness. But I had a room in the castle where I would get made up and dressed. It had a huge bed in it. So I did actually sleep quite often, but not overnight."

Oh my goodness, I am watching the second Australian series, and that Sam really is a piece of work. I couldn't stand the person who won the first Australian series either.

Its been so good we binged watched to the end over the last two nights.

I’ve just started binge watching the second Australian series, thought the blue team boat carry-on was hilarious. And whilst I know there’s very heavy editing carried out on these shows to show certain situations, I’ve already been annoyed by a few extremely unlikeable characters.

There was an interesting question posed on “More or Less” R4 this morning about whether the contestants were more successful at eliminating Traitors at the round table, or would they do just as well drawing lots. ie skill or chance?
For the last U.K. Traitors show, taking odds into account, the Faithfuls were marginally more successful than random….BUT difference too small to prove.

I was laughing out loud at the boat task, one of the funniest episodes ever in any Traitor show. Enjoy the series its an eye opener in manipulation.
