I ve just watched this film. Found it very moving and beautifully written and acted.

We really like Timothy Spall, but we thought this film was absolute garbage.

I also like Timothy Spall, he's undoubtedly a fine character actor. I didn't enjoy this film though, maudlin and depressingly sad. I stuck with it but wished I hadn't bothered.

His son, Rafe is in a film called Amsterdam which popped up on bbc iplayer. A rather sweet quirky little film which I enjoyed more than The Last Bus.

Apologies. It’s called Denmark not Amsterdam. It’s got a lovely dog in it.
