Yes - finally. About to start tonight. 7 episodes. This is in my top three of great crime drama series. The Bridge is second with Shetland third.

The phone will be on silent and MrM had better not interrupt my pleasure. I think he's tempted to watch it though.

Jed Mercurio never ceases to come up with a great story line. Series 3 was probably be best so far for me.

Oh my that’s bloody confusing ?

Emily49 Sun 25-Apr-21 22:00:20

Don’t fancy Jo’s chances in prison.....

grandMattie Sun 25-Apr-21 22:00:41

Me neither...

Pittcity Sun 25-Apr-21 22:02:18

Those two guards are a nasty piece of work.

So, who did Jo think was her father, Osborne or James Nesbitt?

Alegrias1 Sun 25-Apr-21 22:02:33

Is James Nesbitt dead without even being in it?!?!

Jaxjacky Sun 25-Apr-21 22:02:35

Is Hastings going to mention to Steve and Kate there are trackers on their cars?

Calendargirl Sun 25-Apr-21 22:04:00

Alegrias1

Is James Nesbitt dead without even being in it?!?!

Hopefully.

grandMattie Sun 25-Apr-21 22:06:29

I was surprised rpthat they didn’t look for said trackers and leave them in the parking lots.

Atqui Sun 25-Apr-21 22:07:35

Found the Spanish bit difficult to follow. I thought James Nesbitt was gonna be in it too. That was his body ?

tanith Sun 25-Apr-21 22:07:39

So did Jo kill Ryan or did Kate? I think Thurwell is Jo’s Dad well who she thought was her Dad.

Atqui Sun 25-Apr-21 22:09:28

No need for jo to worry that the big boys will get her with those prison officers there to do the dirty work!

Jaxjacky Sun 25-Apr-21 22:10:09

Mr J thinks the commissioner is Jo’s dad.

Grannycool52 Sun 25-Apr-21 22:12:53

As Hastings said, "Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and the wee donkey!" ?

Atqui Sun 25-Apr-21 22:16:11

Ah ! That’s what the end bit was!

Callistemon Sun 25-Apr-21 22:32:23

He's not much older than her.

Atqui Sun 25-Apr-21 22:41:29

I think Kate did shoot Ryan , then Jo asked Kate to give her her gun so she could hold it and get her prints on it

tanith Sun 25-Apr-21 22:42:36

Jo born 1979 and apparently Thurwell is 55 so he and Jo’s Mum about the same age so it’s possible that Mum told Thurwell Jo was his too.

Chestnut Sun 25-Apr-21 23:16:06

Firstly, who killed Ryan? It had to be Kate as there wasn't time to pass the gun over to Jo as stated. They were both pointing their weapons. So how come Ryan didn't shoot Kate? We don't know the whole story yet.

Secondly, is Thurwell dead in Spain? Of course not, he's much too smart.

Thirdly, is Carmichael a bent copper? She sure looks like one.

Charleygirl5 Sun 25-Apr-21 23:39:10

Kate definitely shot Ryan and I agree with Atqui.

It looks as though Carmichael could be the last H the way she is trying to suppress the investigation and get poor "mother of God" Hastings out the door asap. That was the fastest hour this week.

muse Mon 26-Apr-21 01:47:52

What will happen to Steve? He's only got 5 days till suspension. What's under the floor of the workshop? No comment.?
Agree with Atqui about the shooting.

To obvious that Carmichael is H. More likely she's doing what she's told by Osborne who's the last H. He's the one responsible for merging and cutting AC12. He's put Carmichael in there who then got Chloe to remove Osborne from the evidence board.

Calendargirl Mon 26-Apr-21 07:18:09

I hope Osborne is H, as I’ve never been keen on Owen Teale, whatever parts he’s played in.

Emily49 Mon 26-Apr-21 07:19:13

It’s good, isn’t it?!?! Can’t wait til next week, but then what?!

Esspee Mon 26-Apr-21 07:19:29

I am clearly the exception but have found some of the acting in this series incredibly wooden (Kelly Macdonald), and some ridiculously over the top (Anna Maxwell). Even Adrian Dunbar is disappointing. Can’t see why everyone is raving about it.

Emily49 Mon 26-Apr-21 07:34:28

I think it’s the complex story lines that are good - you’re not wrong about some of the acting

Emily49 Mon 26-Apr-21 08:15:31

The word on the street (Twitter) is that the Spanish police captain is really.........
