" Strictly" Line-up!!

I do enjoy it but on the whole I have only heard of 50% of the Z list celebrities whereas I am more familiar with the professional dancers.

Didn't they disclose the line-up last year over the week on The One Show? Always exciting waiting to see who will be on even though there are always lots of "celebs" I have never heard of before. (I used to be more familiar with the professional dancers in the days of Matthew Cutler, Ian Waite, Camilla Dalurup et al, nowadays apart from Kevin, Brendan and Anton it takes a few weeks to work out who they are!)

I hear Ruth from This Morning is on it,I'm a bit fed up with her popping up everywhere ,so I doubt I'll watch it unless GD2 is here ,she likes to copy the moves.Why are some "celebs" so overused ,would be better to give others a chance and stick to her day job .

Every year I say I am going to watch it from the beginning but have never done it yet.
I like Ruth she is up for anything but she does not have lots of self confidence so I don't think she will relax enough to enjoy it or be very good at the moves.

I don't really care who's on it. I might watch a few proggrammes, probaby nearer the end.

It will be the usual a couple of sports people, a few C list soap actors, a newsreader, a couple of older actors who haven't been on TV in a while and a complete Joker. I would like to see Matt Le Blanc and Joanna Lumley not much chance of that though.

I've heard several celebs say they have been asked but turned it down paddyann it's not your average TV job is it.
I think they have to take who they can get to some extent.

I think the programme has done it's time - as have some of the other competitive ones. Where's originality gone?

Why, oh why, do people love to put down "Strictly" when I know for a fact that many people really love it. It's quite simple, you know - If you don't like it then don't watch it!

The Reverend Richard Coles has been announced today. He used to be in The Communards in the 80s and now sometimes pops up on programmes like HIGNFY. He is very funny on that. Have no idea if he can dance, will have to have a look at some Communards stuff on You Tube. He is in his 50s, bit too young for this year's old duffer?
