I have set tv up to record this series, hope it's good.

I didn't enjoy this I thought the script was poor and the characters were stereotypes-let's hope it picks up.

Sorry I too was looking forward to it,but was very disappointed,don't think I'll bother next week.

I enjoyed it. It's a bit Downton meets Upstairs Downstairs but because it's set in WW2 I think will get more interesting.

I watched for a few minutes but was also disappointed so I won't be watching again.

The format reminded me of Mr Selfridge in many ways.

That's what I meant !

But...Mr Sefridge was about a department store...

Not very engaging! Nothing beats the good old 'Duchess of Duke Street' way back when!

Just watched it on catch-up and I rather enjoyed it. Undemanding, good acting - I will stick with it I think. I am up for being entertained.

That's something else I fancy as well. Sometimes you just need easy viewing and nothing to challenge you

We're recording it so we can skip the adverts!

We didn't watch Mr Selfridge although my friend loved it.

I thought of Mr Selfridge too....the son and the receptionist?

I enjoyed it. I like mindless entertainment sometimes ☺

I enjoyed the BBC post war drama also set in a hotel 'Close to the enemy'. It was a bit odd and intriguing.

I enjoyed it and will keep watching. Sunday evening is a perfect time for something just to watch and not think about too much.
