If you have an I pad you can get I player through your App Store. Just download it it's free. Another way is to google I player and down load it that way.

I watched the first episode and quite enjoyed it, but thought it could be a bit samey in other episodes, time will tell.

Saw the trailer and thought it looks promising.

Apologies for the grammar/plurals mix up, it should be adult children and Smart TVs ...

grannylyn neither do I! grin We have a "Smart" TV bought about 2 years ago and iPlayer, YouTube, Netflix, etc etc is all on there and you simply select it.

However my adult children who do not have a Smart TV, also watch stuff via their gadgets, as I understand it, you have to pick up wi-fi on your TV. My son uses a Chrome stick (I think they cost about £30) (and his phone as a remote shock ) and my daughter and SIL use a computer with a bigger than usual screen, as their TV. Me? I just turn up and get comfy! grin

Maybe ask them at the Apple store?

At last some decent telly on the horizon.

We watched episode 1 of this last night on telly, via iPlayer. iPlayer are now uploading entire series (they did the same with New Blood) on iPlayer prior to release on TV, to provide "box set" type of viewing for those who want it.

It will start on BBC1 on Tuesday.

Anyhow - it is good. It's the young actor who played the main role in Merlin - he's a psychologist who returns to the family farm with his new bride and encounters all sorts. It's a Victorian spook story.
