I loved The Night Manager. I can see the attraction with Tom Hiddleston - well his character in the programme at least!

For someone who started aged 14 she has managed to steer a course through the nightmare waters of the music industry, gained many awards and made a lot of money. She supports many charities and has campaigned politically. Not saying I like her but many who start out on this route fall along the way. Takes something special- cleverness, nous call it what you will!

"A lot of something"
I wonder what? grin

As for "clever to have achieved so much success", well ..........

I have no problem with his relationship with TS - good luck to both of them. I will try to persevere with The Night Manager!

Oh no The Night Manager was great- not just because of TH, some great acting from Tom Hollander and Olivia Colman as well.I think if you continue to watch you will find that TH develops the character and proves tougher than you expect. As for his relationship with TS- why not? She may not have a double first but she must be clever to have achieved so much success.

Two days ago I had to ask who is Tom Hiddleston?
I didn't see The Night Manager and first saw his name in relation to the next James Bond, but he is far too pretty for that role which needs a " lived in, rugged " look.
As to a relationship with a pop star, he has something like a Double First in classics from Oxford.
She will need a lot of "something " to keep his interest for long I think.

Thought I would start a more light hearted thread! A friend pointed out that Tom Hiddleston is now in a relatonship with Taylor Swift. (my friend thinks its a mistake he will come to regret!) Am I the only female on the planet who can't see the attraction of this man? The same friend raved about The Night Manager so I bought the box set - I have given up after episode 3, (although I do think Hugh Laurie was very good). I prefer men who don't look like they are about to burst into tears
