Undercover gets my vote. Superb actors, riveting plot, can't wait for the next episode. I'm hooked, it's one of the best things on TV at the moment. Anyone else enjoying it?

I am mrsmopp I love a good drama, we've had some cracking ones lately, keep em coming I say.

Yes, another fan here. Superb cutting and editing too. Mark you I needed to keep my wits about me to follow the plot-line.

It's a yes from me too. How on earth has he managed to keep it up all these years when she is such a good lawyer?

pompa Mon 11-Apr-16 08:08:03

I agree that it is gripping.
BUT. We have decided to delete it from our watch list, too violent and disturbing, not entertainment for us.
Far too many of the current drama's are disturbing rather than entertaining for us.
With one great exception, "The Durrells" thoroughly entertaining, no violence, no swearing, just our cup of tea.
Bring back Midsummer Murders, plenty of murders, but no violence confused

I agree pompa it is violent, but very much a sign of the times I think. It is a good crime story, which I hope will develop with some interesting twists and turns as it goes along. We shall continue to watch, although if it becomes too suspenseful I shall have difficulty with that. It would appear to be another drama about police corruption at the moment, but perhaps that will change, there seems to be an awful lot on the t.v. at the moment about 'bad' cops.

Not for me,too bleddy complicated for a start,Pompa we love the Durrells too,now that's entertainment.

lefthanded Mon 11-Apr-16 19:11:47

We have it recorded but haven't started watching it yet. Also looking forward to the new "The Bridge" story starting on Wednesday. Can't really get into The Durrells - possibly because I'm still watching Keeley Hawes in Line of Duty.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 11-Apr-16 19:18:20

I think it's shaping up to be really good. Not sure I will ever completely understand it though.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 11-Apr-16 19:20:11

Yes. Was funny to see Keeley Hawes in The Durells. She's a good actress.

Too complicated for me , I just couldn`t follow the plot but I do love a good British drama usually . The Durrells is really good , the mother reminds me of myself, slightly dotty but heart in the right place !

petra Mon 11-Apr-16 20:41:09

Can't warm to the characters.
Love The Durrells. Greece as it used to be. I was there in the late 60s when the Colonals took over the country. Very interesting.

Very ex citing. Can someone explain what happened???

grannyqueenie Sun 15-May-16 22:22:22

I was doing so well, then faltered at the last hurdle and am now totally confused! What was on the recording device? Why did the senior civil servant walk free? confused

Moocow Sun 15-May-16 22:35:01

Was annoyed had to wait two weeks for final episode. Time came, settled down to finally watch. It ended and I'm left with a face like this confused

Can anyone tell me what it was all about?

Alima Sun 15-May-16 22:47:18

I really enjoyed it too. Also looking forward to finding out what happened, is there anyone who can explain please?

LullyDully Mon 16-May-16 07:36:51

Think I worked it out.

grannyqueenie Mon 16-May-16 09:22:24

Come on lully, the suspense is killing me cos I haven't!

phoenix Mon 16-May-16 09:26:42

Same here, completely confused

Charleygirl Mon 16-May-16 10:47:11

I was very disappointed with the ending- does this mean that there will be another series?

LullyDully Mon 16-May-16 11:16:48

Ah,hower, the more I think about it the more muddled it becomes.

So the man on death row was the activist Michael if I understood correctly.?
So why couldn't she recognise him?
Why all the subterfuge?
Why did he have to be undercover?
Why put him on death row?
Etcetera.
Who was who?
But WONDERFUL acting.!!!!

phoenix Mon 16-May-16 11:35:27

But Michael died in police custody?

nigglynellie Mon 16-May-16 11:36:52

Wonderful series, but very disappointing end. I couldn't work it out at all! A damp squib that just fizzled out!

nigglynellie Mon 16-May-16 11:40:20

Yes, I think Michael died in Police Custody, and his mother was involved in? Drug smuggling?!!! Not sure if I've got that right, but she was not as innocent as she first appeared! I think!!!!!!!! Very confusing!

LullyDully Mon 16-May-16 11:45:39

Just thought they made it look like Michael died. Couldn't work out the significnce of the drugs except to discredit him.

In which case Goodness knows what happened, I don't.confused
