Phew, Helen starts to talk and talk some sense as well, what a relief. Gracesgran, yes, a suitably trained, experienced and sensitive interviewer will be able to establish whether Henry has been coerced, coached or terrorised into saying whatever it is he says. I'm not attempting to draw people into discussion the dreadful case of the little boy who was murdered by his mother and her partner, I haven't even been able to read all the press coverage But, the relevance to discussions about Henry is that the two young boys in that case were around the same age as Henry and the police/social work team spent 20 hours interviewing those children. Those interviews it is said, helped the court convict the perpetrators. Twenty hours (maybe 10 hours each individual child, I don't know) is reassuring to me given the pressure on sw/police teams to undertake only one or max of three interviews, with such young children as well, you're unlikely to be able to get to the truth of their experiences are you. I don't mean to go off subject, just hope that Henry is given the right opportunity to talk about his experiences. Good for Helen, her information will go to the sw/police team involved.
