Mama Mia and Love Actually are favourites, so is Sleepless in Seattle.

Love Actually the bit at the airport just makes me cry

(Yes, I know you said "feel good films")

Strictly Ballroom. Don't know how many times I have watched it. Sometimes I have just come across it part way through and can't help watching it again! We even use the catchphrase "It's not strictly Ballroom!“ - done in a Barry Fife voice of course! grin

The weird thing is the song Love is in the Air played at the end. I hated it when it was originally released, but after watching Strictly Ballroom, it became one of my favourite songs because it invokes the same feel good mood as the film.

Other films are Dirty Dancing and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. Sensing a theme here! grin

OH was in bed most of weekend feeling rough. Very unlike hi me to take to his bed. When he surfaced Sunday afternoon I suggested we watch something previously recorded to take his mind off feeling ill/cheer us up. We love holidaying in Greece and watched Mamma Mia and both enjoyed it and felt much better. Even the singing (!) made us laugh. What film cheers you up?
