Why Would Anyone Climb on Top ofThe Empire State Building?

What happened?

Two people, a man and a woman, climbed to the highest point on the ESB and unfurled a banner which read "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."

They stayed up there for a while and the man was seen to go down on one knee so he could have been proposing. They climbed down and were immediately arrested.

I won't even climb on a chair!

Scary enough going up the ESB in the lift and going out onto the observation deck 🫣

As the song says.." When you're young and in love " 😂

DD2 was proposed to and engaged on the ESB at midnight (some years ago now).

Because it is there.

I stupidly watched the video earlier this evening and almost threw up with fright. My stomach was heaving, I had to shut the page down. They must be insane!

That’s nice! How did they get back down? Did they base jump?
I can’t watch anything like that as I am frightened of heights, I get the weirdest feeling all the way up my legs.

Oh climbed down! What on the outside of the building?
