I thought that was perhaps the reason why George and Co left merlot thanks.

I don't see why George can't return with his mum and dad. They were dropped because he went on Big Brother but Andrew Michael returned after his failed attempt to become a UKIP MP.

I'm glad about that though because I have a soft spot for their son, Leo.

I agree Ruby she is naturally witty and actually makes some common sense comments. I wouldn't mind a night out with her. Leon and the vicar are annoying and the two sisters who have joined the line up for some reason get under my skin.

I miss George and his mum and dad. I prefer the old line up rather than the latest series but it is light entertainment and not to be taken seriously so it's only a throw away comment .

I too love Gogglebox and like all the participants except Vicar Kate and Leon. Both a bit too strident for me. Kate's husband never speaks, probably learned to keep his mouth shut!
I love the Siddiqis too, lovely gentle, funny family. The two Sandis are very funny with their enormous takeaways.
I miss silent Jay though, he always seemed to be in a trance! ( In case you've forgotten he was the boyfriend of the German chap's daughter)

I just wish June would change her hairstyle. I hate that "upside down crested bird" style where the sides are longer than the back. I have to constantly row with hairdressers who think that all women over a certain age should have it, and try and cut mine like that!

Oh they're wonderful aren't they? Their love for each other is so obvious, even though Leon's always trying to wind June up and she tells him off a bit. Makes me laugh when he goes on about the government - reminds me of a couple of posters on here!

I love Gogglebox, and DH now watches and chuckles along with me. Like others I think the Siddiqui's are great, but can't really decide who are my favourites. Also the two in the mobile home are hilarious. Is it me, or have several of the families got new puppies lately? Just nice to know that we all love people watching.

I wasn't sure about Giles and Mary to begin with but they've grown on me. He's such a gentle soul and quietly funny.

Leon and June are the stars of the show for me. My favourite scene is where he's trying to donate money over the phone and they can't get his name right

Oh, of course I should have guessed with the names. Her chair upholstery matches the wallpaper, fascinating. And his body language is very interesting (or maybe she has the best seat in the house and he is just leaning over to see the telly!)

Grannyknot, no Giles and Mary aren't the motorhome friends. They live in a thatched cottage, she wears colourful/hippyish clothes and sits in an armchair and he perches on a seat somewhere near her right shoulder. They are both very well-spoken!

I don't watch it on a regular basis but when I do I find it very funny too. I especially like the two black ladies. What made me howl with laughter some time ago was when they were watching reports of the MP who'd e-mailed photos of his penis to a young woman. The expressions on their faces were priceless, and then the large lady said, in disgust

"Doing that - and when there's a war on too!"

Do many families sit and watch TV together these days?

Are Giles and Mary the couple in the motorhome thingy? (tries again! see my earlier post). He with the smart hairstyle and she who thought he meant "tall" when he said "long"?

Yes; I'm worried about her wanting to leave home. I don't understand why the reviews say that Giles and Mary are boring as I find Giles hilarious [which probably says more about me than him].

I like Scarlet best. She just hits the nail on the head sometimes.

Dave the Rottie is a hoot. He has some wonderful expressions. The two gay hairdressers are my favourites as their comments are always spot on.

The Saddiqui sons are very witty and I love their gentle teasing when their Dad makes comments that are behind the times.

I also think the Welsh man is heading for neck problems.

Gogglebox is the one programme where I don't mind watching the repeats.

Mary does move cause she changes her tights on a regular basis [and what tights they are!]. The vicar ladies dog reminds me of a large version of my whippet.

Bit concerned about the nippy Chihuahua pup the other night. Bad feeling it's going to be a 'small dog syndrome' sufferer..as are it's owners.

Giles isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the (goggle)box!
I like seeing the various pets too. Poor old Ginge replaced by 2 dachshunds. Dave the Rottweiler and Rolf's various tiny dogs and big cats are fun to see.

I think Giles and Mary are very sweet! (Actually, I don't think we've seen Mary move either, have we? )

Apparently he is an artist! Never seen him move yet. Not that moving is a requisite!!
