Just been watching Robert Peston on News24 who is being swamped by his hair. confused he has brushed his hand through this mop so many times I could scream.

Is this anything to do with his new lady friend? I agree he looks like a floormop with glasses!!

I'm glad he has a new lady friend since the sad loss of his wife.

However I think he has fallen into the trap that some middle age/older men have where they grow the hair they have to distract from the hair they haven't e.g. Comb overs. RP seems at present to have plenty of hair but I wonder if it is thinning at the front and this floppy fringe is hiding it.

When DH started losing his hair about 15 years ago he had it cut very short and it looked/looks neat and tidy.

I totally agree NanKate. My husband also has his cut short and always looks smart. He just has to remember to use Factor 20 on the top of his head when the sun shines!

I've never been a fan of Robert Peston , but that aside, I don't think he has any excuse for becoming what appears to be a sartorial disaster area.

Talking of hair - what has George Osborne done to his? It's now jet black and styled like it's Lego hair that's been snapped onto his head grin

Just read your post RW and nearly fell off my stool laughing re lego hair.

Funnily enough Riverwalk, I was thinking along the same lines when I saw him on the Andrew Marr Show.Either that or a Roman Senator.I never like the brushed forwards look on anyone, not a good look really, the one that Ed Milliband used to favour, and Mr Bean. Men always look better with a brushed back look.

Forgot the OP.......... Robert Peston does seem to have a mop of hair now, like a schoolboy.

I prefer very short hair on older men with the exception of Anthony Andrews who looked divine on The One Show last night.

I object to George Osborne being called a Lego Man - he is a Playmobil character with about the same emotional range.
