pubs open till 05:00am on Monday

Not all are open, it’s their choice.

Well sadly I no longer have the energy to stay up into the early hours - I now go to bed at the time I used to join friends in our local. I’m sorry I’ll miss live action and will watch highlights (or low lights) in the morning.
I bet lots of young folk, or those who sleep 7pm to midnight will be awake and watching. It’s such a rare significant terrifying thing to be an England supporter

I can't say this really needs to happen just to watch a football match.

Surely a lot of people have work in the morning, or have to take children to school etc, who would want to stay up all night?

I feel sorry for the publicans and workers- how many hours are they working and does it comply with working hours directives?
