The only Soap I watch is Neighbours - it's valium for the mind - but they take it off for Christmas and it's not on again until the New Year.

PS can't seem to work out how to do the smileys.

I agree. Some of them have aged well. I didnt really recognise Des Clarke from 30 years ago.

I love the way they have managed to weave in so many faces from the past.

Much better than having a one of day or week of live episodes like this country does, in my opinion.

I have probably watched neighbours right from the beginning, or almost the beginning. I did stop watching for 4 years from about 2007-2011. I cant remember why now. I think think the characters or storylines were annoying me, or getting tame.

Now realised I have almost repeated myself from my post in January! blush

I missed Des Clarke, must look more closely. I like the story line about Madge coming back as a ghost to poor Harold. It made me realise that I'm not coping too badly with my own stress. tbusmile and that's soaps at their best.
