I must have missed the last couple of episodes of last series because I have no ideas what's going on. The last one I saw was when she was in the loo taking a pregnancy test. Im Assuming she had the baby. What happened to brody? Last I knew he was being held captive. Any information gratefully received.

Liz46 Yes Port Sunlight as well as,its very popular for filming as they can close off the Village without causing too much disruption I would imagine,I do love Port Sunlight don't you ? we had a Levers House offered to us just as we where completing on the sale of our first house OH worked for them for years wonderful place to work by all accounts.

It was merely an observation, Lona, not a criticism, no need to be so defensive...wink

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 23:02:47

wink

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 23:01:58

@Ana Less of the 'old' too! hmm I'm mature and worldly wise.

I wouldn't bat an eyelid if a couple of old boys on here letched after expressed admiration for a 31 year old nice young lady.

And that's enough of the dirty old woman Missis. hmm

Starling Tue 14-Oct-14 20:47:21

I am sure you are right Ana but I was wondering if Jings is still there, could she just let Mr Starling know why, as he approached the laptop screen, a video of a handsome young man was being viewed...... blush

Ana Tue 14-Oct-14 17:36:03

It's just occurred to me that if the above exchange had been between, say, pompa and papaoscar and the subject had been a young woman, there would have been a huge outcry!

Why is it somehow OK to be a dirty old woman but not a dirty old man? grin

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 17:29:58

Oooooooh jings Thank you! blush Phew!

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 14-Oct-14 16:49:53

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 14-Oct-14 16:42:18

He is very broad shouldered/chested. Obviously spent loads of time in the gym. [drool]

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 16:37:55

Yes jings a shower scene would be good wink

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 14-Oct-14 12:08:12

Glad you spotted him Lona. Very nice in that uniform! wink Hope he gets a bit more in the main story soon. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Tue 14-Oct-14 12:06:07

Liz46 Tue 14-Oct-14 11:00:12

glammanana, I think I recognised Port Sunlight as well in Peaky Blinders.

glammanana Tue 14-Oct-14 10:05:37

jings ye of little faith re Brody being hanged remember years ago Bobby Ewing reappeared out of the shower grin
Peaky Blinders was filmed not far from us around the Docklands & the Long Streets leading down to The Mersey on Liverpool side of the River,we have a lot of Series filmed around here even Downton episodes of Lady Mary at The Adelphi, the building are so full of character and are right for the era.

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 09:44:35

Oh found it! Yes, I remember the bit, but I didn't recognise him! shock
Well, I'll deffo be watching it from now on! smile

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 09:40:07

jings I never saw Bradley James in it (even more confused ). What part was he playing?

Tegan Tue 14-Oct-14 00:09:16

agile; check out the Peaky Blinders thread..you might be able to fill us in with more info about that era. I'll bump it up on Thursday. Do you remember Black Patch Park??

Hi Whitewave

The name Peaky Blinders comes from the Caps the Gangs wore.In the peak of the Cap they would sew blades and in a fight they would grab the back of the Cap and slash opponents in the face with it often blinding members of the other gang.when I was a kid this was commonplace and gang memberrs wore their scars with pride, that is if they could still see, violence and gangs have always been with us even in the good old days.

I also like Peaky Blinders. To be honest the title put me off and I ignored it for the first series but it was repeated during September and I somehow got to watch it and am now loving it. It is somewhat violent though for those who don't like violence.

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Oct-14 18:25:56

Well, he won't magically re-appear if they hanged him will he? confused hmm
